Why Visit the Bra Shop
The Bra Shop is much more than fabulous Bras from leading Brands. Let us tell you why!
Bra Fitting from our experts
For all ladies it is really important to get an expert fitting:
- Extra support - we fit to K Cup.
- Have recently changed shape for various reasons and their old Bras no longer fit properly.
- Their current Bra may be uncomfortable or be the wrong shape and style
- They may need special guidance – say pre or post-surgery or for maternity
Our 5-Star Customer Service
As an independent, family owned, business customer service is vitally important to us. Our friendly, personal service is what sets us apart from big retailers and internet shopping. We understand what our customers like and don’t like, what suits them best. Anyone can sell a Bra. However, not anyone can make sure you leave the shop looking and feeling great with the right support!
Leading Brands
Working with our suppliers and customers over many years, we have developed a fabulous collection of brands. Only those brands that are loved, trusted, stylish, guarantee excellent support and comfort and offer great value.
Meet our friendly and welcoming team
We are local folk that love people. That is why we do what we do. For us, it isn’t just about the products. We also want our customers to enjoy their visit. It is a time to kick back, relax and have a chat and a giggle. The Bra Shop is like an oasis in the desert of life!
Support your local community
We are local folk employing local people. We shop local and support our independent businesses across Lancaster and Morecambe. In fact, our Bra Man is a member of the Morecambe Business Improvement District (BID) committee. We are proud to be part of our community and want to do our bit to make sure it thrives. By supporting shops like the Bra Shop you can do your bit too!
Where We Are
The Bra Shop is situated right on the promenade just a stone's throw from the well-known Clock Tower and a few yards away from the famous The Old Pier Book Shop. We have the most amazing view of Morecambe Bay and the Lake District mountains. In winter snow-capped and summer majestic rugged beauty from sunrise to sunset.
We are right in the heart of the action. Very close to Morecambe’s famous landmarks, clean beaches, independent retailers, Hotels and Cafés.
Travel Directions
By Train
We are a 10-minute walk from Morecambe Train Station. When leaving the train station, follow the signs for the Promenade. Once you reach the seafront, either walk down the Promenade or our down Marine Road. You will pass the Midland Hotel, the ever-popular Briggs Shoes, Winter Gardens, Kerry’s Coffee House (our favourite watering hole!) Eric Morecambe statue, Queen Street and the Clock Tower. We are just after the Pier Hotel and The Old Pier Book Shop. Look out for our sign!
By Bus
Our nearest bus stop is by the Clock Tower just 100 yards from the shop! If you are coming by Coach, the normal drop off is by the Marine Road 1 Car Park. Head North (the sea on your left) and follow the Train directions above.
By Car
By far the easiest way is to use the Bay Gateway from Junction 34 of the M6. When you reach the traffic lights, turn right onto Morecambe Road and follow the signs for the Town Centre. There is ample parking at various public Pay-and-Display Car Parks but if you want to be close to the Shop (we are in an ideal place to start your visit) then see our Car Park guide below. Follow signs onto the Promenade (Marine Road) and once you reach the Clock Tower you know you are almost there!
Where to Park
Free parking is available on Queen Street and behind our shop. Look for Green Street, Townley Street and Oxford Street. Time limit restrictions do apply and vary from 30 minutes to two hours.
Why not try the free car park (maximum two hours stay) on Green Street?
There is also ample Lancaster County Council car parks and in fact, there are 3 within 100 yards of the shop. The red circles are Car Parks (charges apply):
Things to Do in Morecambe
There is a huge variety of things to do in Morecambe. For those looking for a pleasant walk then head down the length of the Promenade. Over 4 miles of beautiful scenery and fresh, invigorating sea air. A huge variety of seas birds and an amazing vista of Morecambe Bay and the Lake District mountains. There is, of course, also the famous Eric Morecambe statue.
For families a treasure trove of activities. Sandy beaches, Ice Cream, Kids Play areas and Water Park and fountains to splash in! Head to Happy Mount Park, the Trampoline Park or the Old Jetty. For the traditionalists (like us) we still love the trusted bucket & spade, paddling and flying kites!
There is also a wonderful selection of fabulous independent shops and cafes. Kerry’s Coffee House, Briggs Shoes, Cotton-On and Potty Roos for crafts and Warehouse 13 to name but a few.
With so much to do, you can head to the Bra Shop for your Lingerie and then enjoy a full day out in Morecambe. Perfect!
