Shops like the Bra Shop want to do much more than simply sell stuff. If we are being honest, we don’t do what we do to become rich and famous! What is important to us is that we contribute to our local community, offering something that is needed, and at the same time love what we do and importantly make a living.
Doing important stuff for our community
Women’s health is obviously important and we do our bit by providing Bra fitting and style advice. Wearing a properly fitted and supportive Bra protects the ligaments in the Breast which avoids tissue damage and sagging. It also helps to protect the back which for those needing larger cup sizes can be a real issue.
There are obviously some national retailers that sell Bras. However, they don’t offer an expert and personalised fitting service like ours and many will not give advice up to a K cup size as we do day in day out at the Bra Shop. You also cannot turn up when it is most convenient for you and get a fitting as you can at the shop where we are happy to say “No Appointment Needed”!
How do we promote Breast Health?
We do lots of things such as donating to Charity and sharing important messages across our social media. However, the two key things we do are;
- Free fitting service at the Bra Shop - we only provide the best possible advice to ensure our customers find a Bra that fits properly and offers the right amount of support whether they are after an everyday Bra, Sports Bra or post-surgery Bra.
- Talks and Outreach events for community groups – Claire the Bra lady happily does talks on breast health. Things to look out for that may cause issues, how to check for problems and importantly why a properly fitting Bra is important.
- Visiting local Nursing and Residential homes and Sheltered Housing Communities. Providing fitting advice to those that struggle to get to the shop or find it hard to buy online.
Can we help you?
Are you involved with a Charity, community group or social club and would like us to come along and do a talk? Are you organising a Pamper or VIP evening for your customers or a social event and would like us to bring our stall of goodies and offer style and fitting advice
If we come along to do a talk we obviously do not charge anything and getting chance to spread the important message about Breast health is reward enough for us.
If you would like to find out more or book us in for a talk or event, please contact us on 01524 426611 or email us at customerservice@brashoponline.co.uk.
